Key Changes and Requirements
1. Extension of Restriction Period
The restriction on new approvals for G.P. Rating Course and Certificate Course in Maritime Catering is extended for a further period of 1 year.
2. New Institute Approvals and Capacity Augmentation
No proposals for new training institutes or augmentation of intake capacity will be entertained. However, proposals from States/Union Territories without approved institutes may be considered.
Important Note
This circular comes into force with effect from 11th May 2010 and shall be valid for a further period of 1 year.
