Applicable to: Ship owners, Managers, Operators of vessels above 300GT plying on the coast of India

Superseded Circulars: NT Wing Circular No.4 of 2008 and No.1 of 2009

Key Changes and Requirements

The deadline for compliance with LRIT shipborne equipment conformance test has been extended to 30th April 2009.

IMO MSC.1/Circ.1299 - Refers to the IMO circular that outlines the extension of time limits for LRIT compliance.
