Follow up the procedure for (regularizing the practice of obtaining duplicate case/police reports/FIR)

Key Changes and Requirements

Follow these steps to process duplicate certificate applications:

Ensure: Candidate fills up appropriate forms and deposits fees.
Obtain: Police FIR or letter of loss from Embassy/Council of India or flag country.
Verify: With local authorities, company, and DGS records for any outstanding cases or fraudulent certification.
Consolidate: Documents and send to Directorate with recommendation for issue within 90 days.

Note: This process must be completed within 3 months from application submission.
