1. Centralization of CDC Issuance
All applications for issuance of CDCs, including those from training institutes, must be forwarded to the office of Shipping Master, Mumbai.

2. Transition Period
The offices of Shipping Master, Kolkata & Chennai must dispose off all pending cases of issuance of CDCs by 31st March, 2008.
Applications received by post after this date should be forwarded to Shipping Master, Mumbai for action.
Important Note
No applications for CDCs will be received by the offices of Shipping Master, Kolkata & Chennai after the effective date.
