Key Changes and Requirements
1. Direct Admission for Sponsored Candidates
Company sponsored candidates for the February, 2008 batch of "One Year Diploma in Nautical Science [IGNOU]" course are exempt from the Common Entrance Exam conducted by IGNOU. They can be admitted directly to approved institutes.
- Admission Deadline: Form 'B' to be submitted to IGNOU on or before 11th February, 2008
- Batch: This relaxation is only for the intake to the February, 2008 batch
2. Eligibility Criteria
The other eligibility criteria for company sponsored candidates remain unchanged as per DGS Circular No.7 of 2005.
II/4 Institute sponsored candidates are not to be admitted in the February, 2008 batch
Important Note
Any violation leading to admission of ineligible candidates may result in serious consequences, including suspension of institutes. Institutes are responsible for verifying the authenticity of school/college certificates.
