Key Changes and Requirements
1. Course Attendance
Previously, attending a 3-month preparatory course was mandatory before appearing for the MEO Class IV examination. However, this requirement has been removed to reduce the time taken to obtain the Certificate of Competency.
- New Rule: Attendance of the preparatory course is no longer mandatory.
- Optional Course: Candidates may still attend the course if they wish.
II/4 Candidates are advised to review the entire syllabus and curriculum to ensure a sound underpinning knowledge and comprehensive foundation in fundamental engineering sciences and technical skills.
