Key Changes and Requirements
1. Mandatory Training
All seafarers must complete the following training modules by 2025-03-31:
- Mandatory: Basic Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention
- Recommended: Advanced Fire Fighting, Crowd Management, and Human Element Leadership and Teamworking
2. Compliance and Documentation
Seafarers must:
- Obtain: a valid Certificate of Proficiency from CMMI
- Carry: the certificate onboard at all times
- Ensure: the certificate is valid and up-to-date

Important Note
Failure to comply may result in suspension of service and penalties as per the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
