Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Bank Guarantee Format
A revised format for bank guarantee has been issued, superseding the previous one. The new format is enclosed as Annex-I.
- Action: Recruitment and placement services must submit the bank guarantee in the revised format with their application.
2. Scrutiny of Applications
Seamen's Employment Offices at Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai are instructed to scrutinize license applications and ensure that bank guarantees adhere to the new format.
