Key Changes and Requirements
1. Dispensation of NoC from ICC
The requirement for obtaining a NoC from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) while applying for a licence to operate a foreign flag vessel has been dispensed with.
- Action: Indian Shipowners' Association (INSA) will circulate enquiries to ICC members along with their own members, reducing additional paperwork and processing time.
Note: The procedure will be reviewed as and when required to ensure no hardship to Indian shipowners and/or charterers.
