Key Changes and Requirements
1. Answer Sheet Correction
From July 2000, answer sheets for specified subjects will be corrected by approved examiners at respective districts.
- Correction Process: Answer sheets must be duly coded and sent to examiners for correction. Mark sheets must be obtained in the appropriate form.
- Timeframe: Results and mark sheets should be received at the district within 2 weeks.
2. Model Answers and Paper Distribution
Examiners of Engineers should notify question paper numbers to receive model answers from the Directorate.
Subsequently, model answers will be sent along with question papers for examiner convenience.
Efforts should be made to distribute papers to external examiners in rotation.
Key Objectives - Greater transparency, autonomy, and control in paper checking, quality, and confidentiality.
