Key Changes and Requirements
1. Admission Streams
IGNOU offers two streams for the Bachelor in Nautical Science degree program:
- Written Examination & Interview: 55% marks in PCM required.
- Sponsored Candidates: 60% marks in PCM required after interview.
2. Institute Sponsored Candidates
No institute sponsored trainees will be considered for the August-2005 batch.
Exception: Non-INSA/MASSA/FOSMA members with a proven track record can apply to the Directorate for consideration.
