Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility Extension for Oral Exams
MEO Class IV (NCV) candidates can now appear for oral exams beyond the initial 18-month period after passing the written exam, due to non-availability of employment on ships.
Rule 9.6 No longer applicable to MEO Class IV (NCV) candidates.

This circular is issued with the approval of the Chief Examiner of Engineers.
