Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Examination Center
The Directorate General of Shipping has decided to start an examination facility at New Delhi to save candidates' time and expenses.
- Location: Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships, Deep Bhavan, A-13, Sector-24, Noida, Distt. Gautam Budh Nagar-201301 (U.P.)
- Examinations: Written examinations at operational level for nautical and engineering disciplines
- Schedule: As per the annual schedule notified by the Examination Center of the Directorate
2. Candidate Action
Candidates from the Northern parts of India who wish to appear for written examinations at the New Delhi center should inform their preference to MMD, Mumbai as per the norms of MMD, Mumbai.
II/4 Written examinations for operational level of engineers (MEO Class IV) and 2nd Mate for nautical side
Important Note
Candidates facing difficulties should bring it to the notice of the Chief Examiner of Engineers and Chief Examiner of Master and Mates.
