Key Changes and Requirements
1. Written Exam Timing
The written exam for MEO Class IV (NCV) can now be conducted immediately after completion of the 3-month course at approved institutes.
2. Oral Exam Timing
The oral examination must be conducted by the Marine Machinery Department (MMD) after the candidate has completed the requisite sea service with the T.A.R. Book.
II/4 Candidates must have completed 6 months of sea service with T.A.R. Book before appearing for the oral exam.
