1. Revalidation Process
Port Trust Officials holding Master (FG) Certificate should follow the guidance provided in Examination Circular No. EXM-01/2003 and MS Notice Nos. 5/2001, 21/2001, and 22/2003 available on the DGS website.
- Bridging Course: 5 days duration from STCW'78 to STCW'95 update (once)
- Revalidation Course: 10 days duration, valid for 5 years
- Other Courses: Radar Observer, ARPA Simulator, RANSCO, Ship Maneuvering Simulator, PSCRB, Medical Care, Advanced Fire Fighting, GMDSS (each once)
- Medical Fitness Certificate: From a DGS approved Medical Officer
- Service Certificate: From concerned Port, involving in functions appropriate to the certificate held for at least 12 months in the preceding 5 years
