Key Changes and Requirements
1. Course Duration and Practical Training
The GP Rating Course duration has been increased from 4 months to 6 months. There is an emphasis on more intense "practical training" to enhance employability on board ships.
2. Course Guidelines Approval
The final guidelines have been approved by the competent authority and are now in force.
