Key Changes and Requirements
1. Mandatory Online Training
All Indian seafarers are required to complete an online training module on 'Cyber Security Awareness for Seafarers' within 60 days from the effective date.
- Training Portal: CMMI Portal
- Completion Certificate: The completion certificate must be submitted to the respective shipping company or ship owner.

Important Note
Failure to complete the training within the specified timeframe may result in suspension of the seafarer's certificate of competency.
