Key Changes and Requirements
1. Mandatory Tonnage Tax Compliance
All Indian flag vessels under the Tonnage Tax Scheme must comply with the following:
- Annual Return: Submit annually by 30th June
- Audited Accounts: Submit audited accounts annually by 31st August
II/4 Tonnage Tax Scheme, 2023-24 (Assessment Year 2024-25)
Important Note
Non-compliance may result in penalties as per the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
