Key Changes and Requirements
1. Mandatory Online Training — Nautical Miscellaneous
All Indian seafarers are now required to complete mandatory online training modules.
- Training Portal: CMMI
- Deadline: 31st March 2024
2. Updated Certificate of Competency (CoC) Application Process
The application process for the Certificate of Competency (CoC) has been updated.
- Application Portal: DG Shipping
- Key Changes: Online application submission, digital signature acceptance, and faster processing times.
II/4 Mandatory online training modules are listed under the 'Mandatory Training' tab on the CMMI portal.
Important Note
Failure to complete the mandatory online training by the deadline may result in suspension of CoC.
