Key Changes and Requirements
1. Appointment of First Appellate Authority / Public Information Officer
The Competent Authority has appointed the following officers as First Appellate Authority (FAA) and Public Information Officer (CPIO) for technical and non-technical branches of the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai.
- Capt. Manish Kumar, Nautical Surveyor-cum-DDG (Tech) - FAA for technical matters
- Capt. Daniel Joseph, Nautical Surveyor-cum-DDG (Tech) - CPIO for technical matters
- Shri N.R. Raut, Crew-ll Director General of Shipping - CPIO for non-technical and administrative matters
II/4 All other CPIOs & Appellate Authorities would remain unchanged
Important Note
All RTI applications should be disposed of within the time limit prescribed under the RTI Act, 2005.
