1. Monthly Statement of Indian Flag Tonnage Position
The Directorate General of Shipping has released the monthly statement of Indian flag tonnage position as on 30th September 2023.
- Total Vessels (as on 31.08.2023): 1,526
- Total Vessels (as on 30.09.2023): 1,525
2. Vessel Additions and Deletions
During September 2023, the following vessels were added or deleted from the Indian flag vessel tonnage deployed on coastal/overseas trade:
Added: 2 vessels (GT: 58,041, DWT: 95,597)
Deleted: 3 vessels (GT: 31,826, DWT: 46,273)
