Key Changes and Requirements
1. Monthly Tonnage Statement
The monthly tonnage statement of Indian flag vessels as on 30 June 2023 has been released.
- Total Vessels (Coastal & Overseas): 2,107,616 GT
- Indian Controlled Tonnage: 1,38,94,892 GT
2. Vessel Additions and Deletions
During June 2023, the following vessels were added or deleted from the Indian flag vessel registry:
- Added (Coastal): 1 vessel (131,000 GT)
- Deleted (Coastal): 1 vessel (270,000 GT)
- Added (Overseas): 3 vessels (69,525 GT)
- Deleted (Overseas): 2 vessels (17,823 GT)
II/4 Vessels sold without a change of flag/name or acquired on an approval of a BBCD proposal.
