Key Changes and Requirements
1. Payment of Fee under RTI Act
Applicants can pay fee by cash, demand draft, banker's cheque, or Indian Postal Order (IPO).
- Acceptable Modes: Demand drafts, banker's cheques, or IPOs made payable to the Accounts Officer of the public authority.
- Additional Fee: PlOs cannot charge additional fee beyond what is prescribed under Sections 6(1), 7(1), and 7(5) of the RTI Act.
