Key Changes and Requirements
1. Grievance Reporting for Women Seafarers
A new facility, "Grievance Report for Women Seafarer", has been added to the e-governance portal of DG Shipping to enable women seafarers to register grievances related to "Sexual Harassment at Workplace" and "Infrastructure and Facilities" violations of MS Notice 7 of 2019.
- Action Required: Women seafarers are to register their grievances related to the above-mentioned issues on this new facility.
- Deadline: Immediate effect, as of 2023-01-29.

All stakeholders are to access and follow the guidelines through the DG Shipping Website.
Important Note
For other grievances, both women and male seafarers are to register their grievances on the "Grievance Redressal Mechanism".
