Key Changes and Requirements

1. Course Approval and Conduct

MTIs must apply online (afresh) for approval of the 3-day Revalidation Training Course for Masters and Deck Officers.

Processing Fee: Rs. 75,000

2. Course Approval Verification

The Directorate will allow approval based on documents submitted by MTIs, but these documents will be verified by respective Maritime Manning Divisions (MMDs) within six months prior to 31st January 2024.

3. Non-compliance Consequences

MTIs conducting the course without MMD inspection beyond 31st January 2024 may face serious action as proposed under DGS Order 5 of 2016.

Important Note

MTIs must ensure 100% compliance with the issued guidelines and apply online for course approval. The scheme is valid only until 31st July 2023.
