Key Changes and Requirements
1. Fines Waived for Correcting Seafarer Data
Seafarers will not be fined for correcting their data in the Indian Register of Seafarers (IRS).
- Corrective Action: Seafarers should correct their data in the IRS.
- Deadline: 31st December 2021
2. Extension of Deadline for Correcting Data
The deadline for correcting data in the IRS has been extended from 30th June 2021 to 31st December 2021.
Important Note
Failure to correct data by the extended deadline may result in suspension of the seafarer's certificate.
