Clarification Regarding Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator Course

1. Course Requirement

The Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator (LCHS) course is temporarily not mandatory for issuing a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Advanced Training for Oil Tanker Cargo Operations due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Duration: 5 days
Validity: Until 31st December’2022

Note: Officers obtaining COP based on this relaxation are urged to complete the LCHS course as soon as it resumes.
