Revised Procedure for issuance of COC

Mercantile Marine Departments (MMDs) and eligible candidates

Key Changes and Requirements
1. Application Process
MMDs will accept applications for COC only after results declaration and forward them to DGS.
- Documents to be submitted:
- DGS Final Register
- Copy of approved result page
- Copy of earlier COC (if any)
- Copy of first and last page of passport
- Copy of first page of CRC
- Copy of INDOS Certificate
- 3 passport-size color photos
2. DGS Responsibilities
DGS will issue COC based on MMD's recommendations without re-verifying results.
MMDs are responsible for any COC issued based on their recommendations.
Important Note
MMDs should ensure all submitted documents are verified before recommending COC issuance.
