Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Certificate Formats
The Directorate has prescribed new formats for course completion certificates for each pre-sea training.
- Annexures: New formats for BE/B-Tech Marine Engineering, B.Sc (Nautical Science), GME, DNS, ETO, GP Rating, and CCMC course completion certificates.
2. Required Attachments
Candidates submitting course completion certificates must also submit the following attachments:
- Attachment 1: Copy of the pre-sea course completion certificate (Degree / Diploma / course certificate)
- Attachment 2: Copy of evidence for shipboard training (Sea service testimonials and company letter)
- Attachment 3: Copy of the certificate for successful assessment of TAR book / Cadet Record Book of the approved shipboard training
