Key Changes and Requirements
1. Extension of CDC Validity
The validity of CDCs expiring between 1st February 2020 and 1st October 2020 is extended by 6 months.
- No Endorsement Required: No endorsement is needed in the CDCs for this extension.
- Revalidation Later: Once normalcy resumes, seafarers must revalidate their CDCs as per the prevailing procedure. The revalidated CDC will be valid from the original expiry date.
II/4 No action needed for extended CDCs until normalcy resumes.
