Key Changes and Requirements
1. Centralized Attendance System (CAS) Introduction
The Directorate General of Shipping has developed a Centralized Attendance System (CAS) to record attendance of Principal, Faculty, Instructors, and candidates.

- Installation Support: Contact training branch/e-gov branch of the Directorate for installation assistance. A detailed guide will be available on the DGS website soon.
2. Hardware and Software Requirements
Refer to the Annexure for detailed hardware and software requirements. Key points include:
- Hardware: Desktop computer, display monitor, web camera, and internet connection.
- Software: CAS software can be downloaded from the provided link.
3. Implementation Timeline
All MTIs are required to install the CAS system and record attendance latest by 15 May 2020.
