Key Changes and Requirements
1. Online Payment Options — Provident Fund, Gratuity Fund
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, online payment options have been introduced for seafarers' Provident Fund and Gratuity Fund contributions.
- Provident Fund: Syndicate Bank, Mumbai
- Gratuity Fund: State Bank of India, Mumbai
2. Withdrawals from Provident Fund
Seafarers can withdraw from their provident fund account by sending an email with a signed application form to spfoac@smail.com. The proforma of application can be downloaded from SPFO's official website.

Important Note
All payments will be remitted into the bank account of the seafarers online through RTGS/NEFT.
