1. Award Scheme Details
The Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, is running an Award Scheme to promote writing of books in Hindi and translation of books from other languages into Hindi on subjects related to Indian ports, shipping, and inland water transport.
- Awards: Cash awards for books written originally in Hindi and translated into Hindi from other languages.
- Eligibility: All Indian citizens can participate.
- Duration: Books published between 2014-15 and 2018-19 are eligible.
- Entry Deadline: 30th April, 2020
- Entry Form: Available on the Ministry's website and can be downloaded from here.
- Entry Submission: Joint Secretary (Shipping/OL), Ministry of Shipping, Transport Bhawan, 1, Parliament Street, New Delhi - 110001
Note: Books once awarded a prize under any other scheme shall not be accepted under this scheme.

No correspondence will be entertained regarding the selection of books for awarding of prize(s) or the procedure for grading of books.
