Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Implementation Schedule
The Directorate is revising the implementation schedule for DGS Order 05 of 2019. All ships, including cruise liners, can operate in Indian waters until the revised schedule is finalized.
- Revised Schedule: To be announced later
2. Waste Disposal Facilities
All ships can use reception facilities for all waste, including single-use plastics, at all Indian ports until the revised schedule is issued.
Important Note
All ships must comply with the revised implementation schedule once it is finalized and announced.
