Key Changes and Requirements
1. Data Collection Centers Expansion
Data collection for Seafarers Identity Document (SID) has been extended to 5 more Maritime Manning Districts (MMDS).
- New Centers: Noida, Goa, New Mangalore, Kochi, Vizag, Kandla
- Effective Date: 01.08.2019
2. Utilize Available Slots
Seafarers are requested to fully utilize the available slots for data collection at the new centers.
MTIs are requested to disseminate this information and facilitate trainees to book slots during their training.
