Key Changes and Requirements
1. Handling Repetitive Observations
Observations of repetitive nature should be addressed as follows:
- Bring to notice: Directorate General of Shipping and port chairmen
- Affect ISPS certification: Only if instructed by Principal officer
2. Addressing Other Intelligence Agency Reports
Review reports from other intelligence agencies and:
- Request closure report: From the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)
- Notify competent authority: If not closed, inform Directorate and port chairmen
- Affect Port ISPS certification: Only if instructed by competent authority in DGS
