Key Changes and Requirements
1. MEMA Scheme Withdrawal
The Monthly Ex-gratia Monetary Assistance (MEMA) welfare scheme will be withdrawn effective 1st July 2018.
- Beneficiaries: All MEMA beneficiaries registered with SWFS
- One-time Payment: Beneficiaries will receive a one-time lump-sum payment
2. Payment Process
Beneficiaries are advised to approach/write to the SWFS office immediately on or after 1st July 2018 till 31st August 2018 to collect the 'One time Payment Form'.
The completed form should be submitted/forwarded to the SWFS office at the address mentioned in the notice on or before 30th September 2018.
Note: Beneficiaries who are registered with SWFS and receiving MEMA will receive a final payment by the SWFS till 31st December 2018.
Important Note
Failure to collect and submit the 'One time Payment Form' by the specified deadline may result in loss of the one-time lump-sum payment.
