Key Changes and Requirements
1. Clarification on Certificate of Competency (CoC)
The definition of Certificate of Competency (CoC) has been updated to include certificates issued or recognized by the Government of India.
2. Endorsement of Recognized Certificates
Endorsement of recognized certificates is no longer required for teaching faculty at maritime training institutes.
- Note: Endorsement is still required for sailing on Indian ships.
