Key Changes and Requirements

Two MEPC resolutions bring changes to MARPOL Annex I and related certificates.

MEPC.186(59) - 2009: Adds a new chapter 8 to MARPOL Annex I and updates the supplement to the IOPP Certificate, Form-B.
MEPC.187(59) - 2009: Amends regulations 1, 12, 13, 17, and 38 of MARPOL Annex I, and updates the Oil Record Book Part I and II.

Important Note

All affected ships must comply with these changes by 31st December 2010 to avoid non-compliance.
