Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Online Procedures
The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) has introduced new online procedures to streamline batch details, withdrawals, certification, and matrix uploads for maritime courses conducted at MTIs.
- Batch Details: Upload candidate details, including INDoS numbers, using the DGS website's e-Governance tab.
- Withdrawals: Withdraw candidate details from uploaded batches using the DGS website's Training Module.
- Certification: Obtain system-generated certificate numbers for successful candidates using the DGS website's Training Module.
- Faculty Load Matrix: Upload the complete faculty load matrix in PDF format using the DGS website's Upload Documents link.
- Classroom Utilization Matrix: Upload the class room utilization matrix in PDF format using the DGS website's Upload Documents link.
Important: MTIs must follow these new online procedures for batch details, withdrawals, certification, and matrix uploads. The old procedures are superseded.

Non-compliance may result in delays, discrepancies, and difficulties for candidates pursuing correct certification.
