1. Clarification on Revalidation of CoCs
The Directorate clarifies that seafarers holding CoCs upgraded or issued under STCW 2010 are not mandatorily required to undergo a revalidation course or Refresher and Updating Training (RUT).
- Revalidation Options: Approved sea-going service, equivalent service, passing an approved test, or completing an approved training course.
