Key Changes and Requirements
1. Extension of Previous Orders — until 30.09.2017
The validity of previous DGS Orders (1 of 2015, 5 of 2015, 3 of 2016, and 6 of 2016) is extended until 30.09.2017.
2. Surveyors' Responsibilities — until 14.08.2018
Surveyors under MMDs will continue to handle registration, survey, and certification of Indian flag fishing boats 24 meters and above until 14.08.2018.
II/4 Maritime State/UT authorities equipped to handle tasks are not precluded from performing such works.
