Key Changes and Requirements
1. Training Record Book
Seafarers are required to maintain a Training Record Book as per the provisions of STCW Convention, 1978, as amended.
- Mandatory: Carry the Training Record Book on board at all times.
- Validity: The Training Record Book is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of issue.
II/4 Training Record Book
Important Note
Failure to comply may result in penalties as per the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
