Corrigendum - Procedure for issuance of Certificate of Endorsement of Recognition (COE) to Indian Nationals holding foreign COC

Key Changes and Requirements

When applying for the Certificate of Endorsement (COE), the prospective employer must submit the following undertaking:

i) Authenticity of the foreign COC has been verified with the issuing authority.
ii) The officer is appropriately qualified as per the Minimum Safe Manning Document applicable to the vessel.
iii) A self-certifying declaration from the officer, stating their unblemished service on similar vessels, has been obtained and retained for records and scrutiny.
