Key Changes and Requirements
1. Renewal Application Timeline
Applications for renewal of RPS licenses should be submitted to the Director Seamen's Employment Office three months before the license's expiry date. Late applications may result in discontinuity of RPS activities and affect seafarer endorsements.
2. Late Application Fees
Late application fees have been prescribed for RPS providers as follows:
- First month: Rs. 50,000/-
- Second month: Rs. 1,00,000/-
- Third month: Rs. 3,00,000/-
- Subsequent periods: Rs. 1,00,000/- per week
Important Note
RPS providers are advised to submit renewal applications well in advance to avoid late fees and ensure smooth operation of their services.
