Key Changes and Requirements
1. Reimbursable Courses
- Diploma in Shipping Management: Rs. 18,000 (Rs. 9,000 per year) by Narottam Morarjee Institute of Management
- MBA Programme (Shipping & Logistics Management): Rs. 60,000 (Rs. 30,000 per year) by Tamil Nadu Open University
- MBA Programme (Shipping & Logistics Management): Rs. 60,000 (Rs. 30,000 per year) by Academy of Maritime Education & Training
- MBA Programme (Port & Shipping Management): Rs. 60,000 (Rs. 30,000 per year) by Indian Maritime University
2. Reimbursement Conditions
- Reimbursement: Once per course, after passing and producing certificate to Head of Office
- Eligibility: Only for acquiring above qualifications after induction into service
- Permission: Required before joining any course
- Limitation: Reimbursement limited to available budget in a particular year
- Adherence: DG(Shipping) to follow Ministry of Finance instructions

Reimbursement is subject to availability of funds in the budget of a particular year.
