The DGS has finalized new guidelines for the LNG Cargo and Ballast Water Handling Simulator Course at the management level. These guidelines aim to bring uniformity in training, amenities, and equipment provided by all training institutes.

- Implementation Date: 1st January, 2007
- Compliance: Training institutes, ship-owners, and manning agencies are expected to follow these guidelines in letter and spirit.
Note: These guidelines were formulated in consultation with training institutes and employers, and comments were invited from interested parties.
