Key Changes and Requirements
1. Streamlined CDC Issuance Process
Upon receiving an application, Shipping Masters must:
- Verify the application and communicate any deficiencies to the applicant by ordinary post.
- Send a registered letter with a specific deadline if no reply is received, warning of application rejection.
- Reject non-compliant applications.
2. Maximum Processing Time
Shipping Masters should not keep CDC requests pending for more than 3 months.
