Key Changes and Requirements
1. Verification of Marks and Age
MTIs must verify the genuineness of candidates' mark sheets and school leaving certificates before admitting them and issuing passing out certificates or Continuous Discharge Certificates (CDCs).
- Verification Process: MTIs should confirm the authenticity of marks and age from the concerned Educational Board and/or the Principal of the School.
- Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with this directive may result in major misconduct as per DGS Order 1 of 2003.
