Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility for Oral Examination
Candidates must complete all modular courses required for the grade of examination to be eligible for oral examination.
However, candidates are not required to produce the attendance certificate at the time of booking for oral examination.
2. Examiner's Responsibility
Examiners are expected to randomly assess the knowledge of the candidates during oral examination on the subjects taught in modular courses as specified in the MS (STCW) Rules, 1998.
